Hello guys, welcome to another dezaart blog where we are featuring today how to unlock an E27 lamp holder. Have you ever experienced a faulty holder? Have you ever tried to unlock it? If not, don’t worry we got you covered.
The lamp holder consists of three parts (as shown in the video), the upper part with the golden metallic piece attached, the inner part and the main body. First step is to identify these parts and make sure you have all three of them.
Second step is to de-assemble the lamp holder. Firstly, we need to unscrew the main body slowly. If you cannot unscrew it, that means that there is a metallic part in the inner body of the holder that keeps it locked. Grab a screwdriving tester and push it firmly in order to unlock it.
Once you have the main body deassembled, then grab the inner part of the holder and use the screwdriver to unscrew the cables attached.
Check the lamp holder for any faulty connections.
Let’s reassemble it as shown in the video. Connect the wires in the inner part of the lamp holder and screw them tightly with the screwdriver.
Place the inner part inside the upper body.
Screw the main body back to the upper body so the lamp holder will be assembled.
7 easy steps right? We are pretty sure you ‘ve got this.
Always make sure you are using an E27 bulb and not an E26 or any other type. It won’t work
Also make sure you screw the bulb, up to the very end. There are many times in our career that we have faced problems like this.
