Our history

DEZAART was founded in 2015 by the architect Thanos Athanasiou. It started off as a family business and has evolved in a modern and innovative workshop in Agrinio, western Greece. From early on, the managers of the company nurtured a deep interest for architectural designs combining geometry with a modern architectural style.

The founder of the company

Thanos Athanasiou comes from Agrinio, western Greece and studied Architecture in the Technical University of Crete(TUC), Greece. While working as an architect, his desire for creation urged him to found DEZAART. Having listened closely to the needs and desires of the market while working in his own architectural office as well as through his cooperation with designers, he started designing DEZAART’s products responding to stimuli from geometry and modern style with the simultaneous use of high-quality materials.

Workshop

The production of our products is accomplished using technology such as CNC ROUTER, LASER, LATHE and the like. Our designers use models which enter the production line after thorough tests and inspection. Specialized technicians carry out the processing of raw materials from the early stages through the packaging of the final product. All processes are carried out from the ground up in the company’s premises. Thus, allowing us to offer lighting of the highest aesthetics along with long lasting products which cater for your needs.
