AD| With the weather getting colder and colder every day, we all tend to spend more time in our houses and apartments, so it's vital to make sure our interior spaces make us feel cozy and warm. That's why I decided to finally upgrade my lighting system in my apartment and install an earthy wooden pendant light from the Greek sustainable brand @dezaartlighting. Behind Dezaart is a small group of artisans in a family workshop in Agrinio, that hand make pendant lights table lamps and even their own jewellery. They combine Scandinavian minimal design with sustainability, since their pendants are made from MDF coated wood. MDF is considered one of the most eco friendly alternatives because it's constructed primarily from wood fiber, many wood shavings and other portions of the wood that might normally be discarded can instead be recycled into MDF production. This both reduces waste and also means a higher percentage of trees harvested are used to create valuable products, putting less strain on our forests and creating sustainable construction practices for years to come.
I personally chose the Pendant Light Fat Umbrella, since it's a modern and simple design that will blend naturally in many spaces and it's one of @dezaartlighting's best sellers! The package includes all the essential parts to install your new pendant light and some extras just in case! As a completely unskilled person when it comes to installing electrics I can confidently say that it was a piece of cake to assemble and install the pendant light myself!
