RETURNS

If you wish to return the item for any reason, you may do so within a 30-day period, provided that the product is in excellent condition. Perfect for my son’s room. It was easy to put together. It has a wood veneer finish. It feels pretty plastic-like, but that probably helps with durability while handling a delicate puzzle light fixture. The smell was overpowering, but it’s completely gone after a few days.

The bird shade is a stunning design: no excess of detail yet it conveys a bird in flight perfectly. The laser-cut wood feels substantial and once assembled it looks and feels of good quality. It doesn’t take too long to slot the 36 wooden ‘feathers’ into the lamp-holder disc. For anyone who has suffered the frustration of assembling a Normann Copenhagen lamp or similar design-led self-assembly shade, this is easy. I see others comment that it is tricky to assemble but I didn’t really have any trouble - be gentle but firm. The seller was polite and pleasant and the item was posted from the other end of the continent to me and I received safely in good time. The packaging was good and instructions very clear. I found the medium colour a match for my 70s G-Plan sideboard and a little darker than the warm oak I had expected. 5*****
